Ford Motor Company is one of the famous car brands founded by Henry Ford on June 16, 1903. This multinational automaker company is based in Dearborn, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. It also holds a small stake in Mazda in Japan and Aston Martin in UK. The management that he made in the company created a term called Fordism.
Ford is capable of producing large-scale manufacturing of cars and management of industrial manpower using quality engineered manufacturing process. This method became known and adapted in most car companies and established the term as Fordism in 1914.
Ford Motor Company had been to ups and downs, but it still continues to emerge as one of the largest car makers in the world. In fact, in 2010, it is the second largest automaker in the U.S. and fifth in the world based on annual sales. It also received quality survey awards in 2007 from J.D. Power and Associates from any other automaker.

He was Ford’s first chief engineer and designer (who also help to design the Model T).
