Honda Motor Company Ltd. is a Japanese multinational company founded by Soichiro Honda in 1948. He was a self-taught engineer and mechanic which created motorcycles to respond to the transport issues of gasoline shortage during the Second World War. This creation led to Honda’s success today as a largest manufacturer of motorcycles and third largest car manufacturer in the world.
