LUXGEN is a Taiwanese automaker company established by Yulon Group in 1949. It is indigenous automobile brand and a dedicated integrator of automotive and smart IT technology.
Yulon Group’s automobile manufacturing operation began in 1953 and has grown steadily over the years to become Taiwan’s largest automobile manufacturer with production plants located in Taiwan, Mainland China and Philippines supplying the local markets with over 2 million quality vehicles produced in association with Nissan, Mitsubishi, GM, Chrysler, Mercedes-Benz and more.
Luxgen cars focus on the development of various high-tech features and latest alternative energy technologies to elevate Taiwan’s automobile industry to a higher level. Their first produced car is an MPV called the Luxgen7 MPV. The second product, the Luxgen7 SUV, was revealed in Xindian. Both cars are powered by a 2.2 L I-4 MEFI turbo charged engine developed by ChungHwa Engine Corp. and tuned by Delphi.
LUXGEN5 SEDAN, the first whole Taiwanese self-developed car, is the new generation of Luxgen series and will be unveiled in November 2011 at the Taipei Auto Show and then officially launched in the second quarter of 2012.
Luxgen Logo is simple and edgy among other car logos. It is represented by special letter design “L” which stands for its brand name. Luxgen logo is enclosed in a square box with black background, a feature similar to other car logos. As simple as it is, the Luxgen car logos are remarkable as it climbs to the ladder of fame with known car logos in the market.
The LUXGEN brand consists of the elements “luxury” and “genius” to signify its dedication in offering luxurious, high-tech and smart automobiles. Based on the brand spirit of “Think Ahead,” LUXGEN offers a unique sales and service experience that will far exceed the expectations.
In the future, Luxgen plans to release a wider range of vehicles, including a sedan called the Neora and an electric vehicle based on the Luxgen7 MPV, in collaboration with AC Propulsion.
