Troller Veículos Especiais S/A (Troller) is a manufacturer of off-road vehicles in Brazil. It was founded in 1995, in Horizonte, Ceará. Troller T4 3.0 Turbodiesel is Troller’s flagship. It has featured successfully in several rally races around the world, including the Dakar Rally.

The Troller Company started in 1995, by Rogério Farias. In April 1996, the first prototype was built. In 1997, Troller was bought by the entrepreneur Mário Araripe, who formed a partnership with Rogério Farias, and the first gasoline-powered T4s were built. The mass-production of the vehicles started in 1999, when a factory was built.

In 2005, a manufacturing plant opened in the African country of Angola to build the T4 for the African market. Ford does brasil announced in January 2007 the acquisition of Troller for an undisclosed price.

The name Troller is a non-official Brazilian Portuguese adaptation of the English word troll. Troller logo is simple like other car logos in the automobile industry. The red background and white color of the font of logo made it more stand out among other car logos. The simple T on the logo associate’s strength and heavy-duty  performance of its vehicles. Its specialty on off-road  tracks and safety made it more recognizable to auto enthusiasts. Indeed, Troller trucks stand out as an off-road vehicle in a sea of car logos.
