Automobile Lamborghini S.p.A. is an Italian sports car manufacturer established in 1963. It was known globally for its high velocity, classy and luxurious sports cars. Its owner Ferroccio Lamborghini had already owned two successful companies of tractors and air conditioners during the 1940s. His fortune and keen interest in automobiles had led him to purchase high-performance vehicles like the Maseratis and Ferrari. However, Ferrocio was unsatisfied with Ferrari’s noisy cars, so he decided to put up his private company.
He released more Lamborghini cars and have gained superiority over models like the four-seat Espada and many other V8 sports cars. The company is based in the small Italian village of Sant’Agata Bolognese, near Bologna.
The Lamborghini logo represents the performance of its sports cars like other car logos. It was created taking inspiration from Taurus, the bull zodiac sign of the company’s founder. His passion for bull fighting was also reflected through the Lamborghini logo and car models that were named after famous bulls. It was as well symbolical like other car logos.
